| An Introduction |
| These materials are designed for students who want to
improve all four language skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking.
It is designed to improve students ability rapidly by practising a variety of
skills within these four categories, and we talk through the various activities
we work on. With these intensive, focused classes, in addition to the two or
three hours it takes to prepare for each class, students in this program find
their level increasing as it never has before. |

| If you are that person who can't find the right course to bring your level up, if you feel frustrated with your level, and are keen to put some effort into a stimulating course, then this course is for you. If you are interested in studying a university course in an English speaking country, you will find this course extremely useful. If you have been pushing hard for Eiken 1 or Eiken pre-first, then this course will bring you up to the level you need. If you are interested in interpreting and translating, or are studying in interpreting or translating classes and are having trouble maintaining your English, this course is for you. Perhaps you want a focused course which will bring up your TOEIC score dramatically. Then this course is for you. If you have lived abroad and want to keep your English and learn some interesting things about what is going on in the world, then you will love this course. |
| Materials |
| The course is designed using real materials; a variety of listening materials from television and radio, as well as from magazines and the world's best newspapers. It is both topical and relevant, with the most important issues and trends from around the world as the topics we learn through. The homework topic and the class topic are always the same, so when you arrive at class you will have already studied about the topic at hand, and have the vocabulary to discuss the issues. Then we move on to some new material on the same topic. |

| Time and time again, this course has proved to be successful in raising students English ability. Their improved Eiken, Tsuken, TOEFL and TOEIC scores are testimony to this.
